read our Eleven review. enter to win.
My baby is still in the smaller line of See Kai Run shoes, so I enlisted my sister to test out two pairs of the Eleven toddler shoes for my nephews, ages 3 and 4.
I brought the shoes over to the boys and the first thing they said when they saw them? “Cool, auntie bought us bowling shoes!!” Outta the mouth of babes or what. Of course, I corrected them and explained that, um, they were in fact “super cool, stylish, and more important would help them be really fast”.
They were excited and then moved on to call them their special shoes. They both put them on right away and one of the boys didn’t want to take them off! Good news.
Often new shoes seems so clunky at first for little feet, but both boys were off and running in them right away. “See Auntie! They do make me fast.”
I asked my sister for some more feedback, after 4 months of testing them out – {after all, we had to be thorough!}
So here’s our quick & dirty review:
(+)
-
flexible, yet sturdy
-
comfortable, no complaints from our tiny testers
-
no buckles or laces, the boys could put them on themselves easily
-
cushioned collar around ankle, with a cushy insole
-
stylish & timeless, perfect for toddlers without being to babyish
-
lots of fun styles for the discerning mom to choose from…
(-)
-
$$$, price is a wee bit above average
Eleven shoes are on the higher end for children’s shoes, and in this economic time, it can be a challenge to find the extra dollars and cents…but both my sister and I agree, that a little bit of investment in your little ones feet, especially as they get grow and get faster, is well worth the pennies.

Love the Anya. It is a cute Maryjane and love the bright pink and green colors on the shoe! Love Love Love the toe cap - what a special “cute” touch. Maryjanes are the best shoes - so easy to wear and put on your toddler! Love the shoes.

I seem to struggle finding the right shoes for my kids. They’re either too stiff or too cheap looking:( I loved viewing this line of shoes and my favorite for my son would be the “Eleven Trainer”, they just really caught my eye. For my daughter I would say my fav is “Kasota”. Sporty yet so girly!
Amanda Daybyday 06.07.09 at 1:04 pm
My daughter isn’t old enough for these shoes yet, but my boys are! So, even though I love some of the girls styles, I tell my favorite boy style. I love the Aubin. So handsome!

I think James would be easy for a 4 yr old to put on and off, and well Dublin because he would look so hot in them! I also have to say the Alistair sandal is great because I can never understand why anyone would put their child in a open toe sandal - someone was thinking here!
