1. Tell us a little about yourself, your family, and/or your business.
Kula Klips was born almost 4 years ago. I have a 1.5 year old son and a high school sweetheart husband
2. If you had to describe your business in less than 15 words, how would you do it
An array of HIP accessories for Children from Kula Klips to Buckled Belts!
3. What is your inspiration for your business? Your products?
I strive to make hip accessories for a market that was lacking in them. I am not a trucks and trains kinda girl when it comes to my son, so finding things that are hip for him is a little more tricky and that is the gap I am trying to fill.
4. What is the most rewarding thing about being a mom? A mom-preneur?
Being able to work from home and spend time watching my son grow up. I am blessed with the opportunity to do this!
5. What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a mom-preneur?
Anybody can make something to sell, but you need to be prepared to do it. Do your research first! And be prepared for a lot of work!
6. What keeps you motivated?
The positive feedback and praise I receive from happy customers and retailers. Customer service is my number 1 priority!
7. What is your next big goal?
To continue to grow the company and to continue to expand our product lines.
8. What is your guilty pleasure?
Celebrity Blogs and Magazines
9. Name a product that you cant live without for you or your baby?
I couldn’t live without a soother clip! And that is why I made them because when my son was born they were no where to be found and the ones I found were not my style or not functionable for a baby.
10. What is the most valuable lesson you have learned as a mom {so far} ?
Your child is in charge! You may have planned to wash the floors but if he isn’t gonna allow it then it’s not gonna happen!
