What’s all this about CAD and USD? Why is the retail price different on your site than on some of the manufacturers?
We know. It’s seems a bit confusing but it’s not really – we promise. True Cuddles is a Canadian company selling products in Canadian dollars (CAD). Many products are sourced from US Retailers and purchased in US dollars (USD). We’ve decided to show you pricing only in Canadian dollars so we’ve gone ahead and done the conversion for the pricing on our site.
Conversion on product prices are completed at the time of Cuddle release. We even use www.xe.com as our resource so you KNOW we aren’t making it up!
I don’t get it! Your products are all sold out??
Each week, True Cuddles releases a new product, in limited quantity, at a discounted price, and sells it until it’s gone. So if you see the product, but can’t order, it’s because it’s sold out. In other words, sadly, you’ve missed the cuddle.
However, we wouldn’t want you to miss out on a good thing! Though the deep discount has come and gone, still, you can find the hip, exciting gear we’ve featured in the past in our Cuddle Archive. Happy Shopping!
I love this product, my friends kids will love this product…I want to order for all of them! Is there a limit?
Since we truly only have a limited quantity of each product, we are forced to limit the quantity to two per person. Sorry Jon and Kate.
I want to be the very first person to find out what the Cuddle of the Week is! When do you reveal it?
We announce the new Cuddle of the Week product each and every Monday morning at 9:00am MST on our blog, and via our Cuddle of the Week e-mail alert. Sign-up for the e-mail alert and be in the loop, or remember to check our site on Mondays bright and early!
I ordered this week’s cuddle…when will I get it?
We package up our cuddles and ship them out every Thursday. If you place your order on Friday, or the weekend, your package will ship the following Thursday. When your order is shipped you’ll receive a shipping confirmation e-mail that will include tracking information.
All items are shipped by Canada Post’s Expedited Parcel service from Calgary, AB.
For Canadian orders, they guarantee 2-7 business days (although remote areas may take longer). US orders take approximately 7 – 10 business days to arrive.
I changed my mind. What is your return policy?
Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. Please email us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your purchase. Let’s chat.
Why does your shipping rate change each week?
Since our product changes each week and some fit in small packages and some need really big boxes, the rate will change accordingly. In a small effort to simplify things for you, we will only have a flat-rate price for shipping to Canada and the US. So really, it’s still easy-peasy!
I live in Calgary! Do you offer local delivery or pick-up?
Sadly, we don’t offer delivery and pick-up anymore. We really wanted to offer this service, but aren’t able to keep up with the demand – remember we are mom’s too!
I got my shipping confirmation email but it didn’t include tracking information? What’s up with that?
All packages valued OVER $25.00 CAD are shipped Canada Post Expedited Parcel service from Calgary, AB and will include tracking information.
Any orders valued UNDER $25.00 CAD will shipped Canada Post Lettermail or Regular Parcel and will not include tracking information.
Trust us, its better this way. Otherwise, you could spend more on shipping than the deal itself!
I never win anything. How do I win one of the awesome giveaways on your site?
Well, your odds are as good as any! Winners are selected using the random integer generator from www.RANDOM.org. A random number is drawn from the total number of entrants…
We’ll continue to have one goodie giveaway each week! Keep entering and hopefully your luck will turn around!

Hi Kelsey and Lynn,
I heard about your website through my friend and program sponsor Ashley Fraser-Sexsmith of Kula Klips. I am hoping that you might want to include my story/business in your featured mompreneur section!
I run a post-natal new moms social network called Mommy Connections in Edmonton. This is a similar program that Alberta Health Services now offers again (the program was suspended in 2009) to new moms. Alberta Health Services markets the program through the information new moms receive at the hospital as well through the health units during home visits and follow up calls by public health nurses. The Alberta Health Services is a fantastic program for new moms, especially those who really need basic information regarding caring for their new baby.
After hearing so many of my new mom friends tell me that they couldn’t get into the program at their local health unit (I also got into the program on a cancellation when my daughter was 4 days old) and then digging further to find out that the program had been suspended; I decided to create a modernized version of the program and thus, Mommy Connections was born! The program is currently running in Sherwood Park, West Edmonton, South-Central Edmonton and Southwest Edmonton, with plans for rapid expansion to other areas in and around the city. The six week program has weekly 1 ½ hour sessions that each have a theme with expert speakers on such topics as Post-Natal Fitness, City Program for families, pediatric dental health, mommy & baby nutrition, infant first aid, baby massage, hip clubs & classes for mommy & baby, returning to work and more! Besides the topic selections and diverse group of expert speakers, this privatized program also differs from the provincial program in that instead of only offering 15-18 moms the opportunity to join, we allow 60 moms (and 60 babies, and 60 car seats – you get the idea!) to go through each 6 week program. It is an extremely large group, however, it allows more moms the opportunity to get into the program, and more importantly to finish the program with a small neighbourhood group of 15 moms that they can continue to meet up with. In short; they still get the same end result – they will meet a small group of women that live right in their own neighbourhood. This is the precise reason why I want to quickly expand to several communities across Edmonton and surrounding, because I want to connect moms with women that they can run into at the park and the grocery store. The convenience of living closely will encourage even more play-dates as well as create lasting friendships between new moms.
I feel like the program is newsworthy, because there really isn’t a modern program like this available to new moms, and with cost cuts in so many areas of our public health care system, many cities don’t even have the basic Provincial program. I view it as the only post-natal program in the city that has the sole purpose to connect women in their communities. Most of us go through life now without even knowing our neighbours, and Mommy Connections enables moms to reconnect with other women in their community which is often so challenging if they have been busy with a career for many years previous. The other newsworthy part of all of this is that after I created Mommy Connections and met so many amazing women business owners, I decided to launch Bossy Mama; the network for mompreneurs. In the beginning, I admit I selfishly just wanted to ensure that I could keep my Mommy Connections presenters close by so they would want to come out and support the program in the future. Word spread and it became a specialized business network that now has approximately 60 members. I wanted to bring women together that were balancing the demanding job of being CEO of a household, as well as CEO of a business. These days, we aren’t just stay-at-home moms or working moms, we want to have it all; (and rightfully so!) and being a mompreneur often fits the bill. The weight of the world seems to fall on our shoulders as women, and my goal for Bossy Mama is to connect women and empower and inspire them to help grow each other’s business through kinship and networking. The cost is free and we have monthly evening events with expert speakers. I am in the midst of planning a large spring event in April that will occur on an annual basis.
I would love to speak to either of you further about this! I If you have any questions, just let me know!
Sincerely,
Carol
